Poster Session I

Date:
13.09.2022, 17:00 - 17:45
Duration:
45 minutes
Location:
Foyer

In our two poster sessions on September 13th (17:00 – 17:45) and September 14th (12:45 – 13:30) we would like to give all attendants the opportunity to present their research in form of a poster and use the session to engage in discussion with your peers. The participants of the MLE Summerschool come from a large variety of different scientific backgrounds whereas the application of machine learning and data science techniques is what unites us to solve scientific challenges. Please keep this in mind when you prepare your contribution and take care that you can explain your research topic to someone that is not an expert in your research domain! We strongly encourage you to use this opportunity to dive into different research areas as they might give you new impulses and ideas for your own research.

The MLE consortium will award prices for the best posters. The winners will be crowned by the participants based on a survey that we will hand out during the first day of the event.

Posters should be in A0 format (180 x 90 cm) and in portrait orientation. Poster boards will be marked with names. Please attach your poster to the designated wall during lunch break on the 13th and remove them after the second poster session. All posters that are not removed will be trashed at the end of the event.

If a presentation is planned for the Elevator Pitches, PDF and PPT are required. Please send them in advance (latest 24:00 on 12.09) to benjamin.boll@tuhh.de. Without PPT or PDF, no participation in the pitches is possible, and therefore, no chance of winning a prize! No USB sticks on the event are possible and own technology cannot be used.
IMPORTANT: There is no time extension! Please keep to the time, because after 2 min, the plug will definitely be pulled.
