Social Event @ Wildwuchs Brauwerk in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg

To foster the networking and socialising between the participants in a colloquial atmosphere an off-campus social event will be organized on the evening of the first day of the summer school starting at 20:00. That event will take place in the "Wildwuchs Brauwerk", a local brewery producing organic beers, in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg:

A limited number of free drinks will be available at the beginning of the event. After that drinks are at your own cost.

No free food will be offered on site and they have only got very limited capacities for eating, so we recommend to have a snack beforehand, e.g. on the way to the social event. Here are a few examples of snack options in the vicinity of the Harburg Rathaus S-Bahn station: Curry Naan (Indian), Uni Grill House (Kebab), Croque Master, Viet No 1 (Vietnamese), Buddha Kitchen (Vegan), Burger mit Glücks, Döner Queen (Kebab), Cigköftem (Turkish, veggie), Yoko Sushi, La Patina (Pizza), Balkan Street Food, ... There are also 3 kebab places near the Heimfeld S-Bahn station.

Directions to the Social Event: by car approx. 15 min, by bike or public transport about 30 min. Public options: - S3 (Harburg Rathaus to Wilhelmsburg) + 15 min walk; - S3 (Harburg Rathaus to Veddel) + bus 155 (to Rotenhäuser Str Ost); - Bus 142 (Kasernenstraße (TU Hamburg) to Harburg Rathaus) + Bus 154 (Harburg Rathaus to Rathaus Wilhelmsburg) + 10 min walk.
